Welcome!

Our mission is to deliver exceptional solutions that drive efficiency and enhance the operational capabilities of property management businesses.

After more than 15 years in the property and tech sectors, we noticed a lack of resources and knowledge available for both existing and new Yardi clients. Drawing on our historical experience as users and participants in end-to-end processes with property management software, we launched SJH Solutions in early 2023.

One year after the business began, SJH Solutions was accepted into the Yardi Independent Consultant Network, making us one of the few official third-party consultants based in Melbourne, Australia.

We aim to help bridge the gap, between the disconnect that can sometimes occur between a businesses’ big idea and the reality of the day-to-day experience by end users.

As part of this journey, we want to build a partnership with you, the client, and your users. Throughout our time, we’ve forged lifelong working and collaborative relationships across a broad spectrum of experiences that can be tapped into if needed. We’re also not afraid to bring in new ideas or engage and collaborate with others to deliver you the best and most appropriate results that your business needs.

Sarah’s property management journey began in 2006 at one of the leading property management agencies in Australia, utilising MRI, which was the country’s foremost property management and accounting software at the time. From humble beginnings at the bottom of the ladder, she mastered all facets of the national shared services division in the commercial property space over her nine-year tenure and eventually came full circle by entering the technical support team. There, she assisted users with day-to-day issues, learned all the behind-the-scenes processes that made the system work, and engaged with several layers of the business to ensure continued success with system improvements. She always championed the best outcomes for users and their experience with the software. It was also here that her love for SQL and data was born.

With a fresh set of technical skills, Sarah stepped away from property and spent two years working on an ERP system for project-based clients, assisting with user issues, creating and building custom requirements, facilitating integrations and data visualisations.

Returning to the world of property, Sarah was first introduced to Yardi software in 2017, learning the ropes directly with one of Yardi’s legacy clients in the Australian region. As is her preference, she learned with boots on the ground, getting her hands dirty by running a large number of operational tasks. This approach allowed her to understand the software in real-life settings and assess any improvements that could be made. With a solid baseline established, her skills and knowledge of Yardi expanded into system administration tasks, customisations, data migration and more.

Wellbeing Manager
Cleo was born in April 2018, with her original origins and home unknown. Unfortunately, by December, she found herself at the pound but thankfully was picked up on Christmas Eve by the amazing Ingrid’s Haven animal shelter.

In January 2019, she unashamedly melted Sarah’s heart and made it very clear (loudly and repeatedly) that Sarah would not be going home without her. Now, Cleo is living her best life in a forever home.

As a founding team member of SJH Solutions, Cleo takes her self-appointed role as Wellbeing Manager very seriously. Often found in the dedicated window bed in the office, she sunbathes during work hours but becomes increasingly disruptive and attention-seeking if the hours have well passed the usual knock-off time. On days that Sarah needs to spend time at client offices, she waits patiently at the door and jumps into Sarah’s arms for cuddles as soon as she arrives home.

Client Relations
Milly was born in June 2019 and came into the care of Ingrid’s Haven animal shelter from Mildura. She was adopted by Sarah and her family in May 2020. She displayed a quiet and sweet nature on adoption day, but that quickly turned into boss mode once she arrived home.

A simple country girl who purrs like a tractor, Milly is an independent and self-assured feline but would do just about anything for her favourite red mouse and some crunchies.

As the final founding team member of SJH Solutions, Milly has been placed in charge of client relations. She always makes her presence known, checks in regularly, and says a little hello. If you’re lucky, she will even ask for a quick belly rub.
